And I love it so much. I knew it as soon as I saw it. It sparked immense joy, and it could have been priced at $200 and I would have still bought it.

It was likely painted by a Chinese artist, assembly-style, and sold cheaply for adornment. It has no substance, no artistic meaning. It was created to be beautiful, nothing more. I think I love it more for being only that; there’s something pure, and uncomplicated about it. It makes no statements, requires no deep thought. Nothing but form and color, arranged to be pretty.
